ARCADIA MAYORAL ROTATION SCHEDULE UPDATED
When the City Charter was updated to include an automatic rotation of the Mayor, City prepared a schedule for the first five rotations. With the coming transition in February, that original cycle will be completed. Below and attached is an updated schedule for the next five years. We will update the names for 2028 and beyond after the 2026 elections are completed.

Recreation & Community Services - Senior Lunch Program
The senior lunch program operates Monday through Friday from 11:30am - 12:15pm and offers those 55 years or older a meal for $3. During the week of November 3, 243 meals were served. On Tuesday, November 4, seniors got creative and made festive hand turkeys with their own personal touches and shared what they’re thankful for this holiday season.

ARCADIA SIGNS AGREEMENT FOR LA28 OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC GAMES

Honoring Veterans
To commemorate Veterans Day, 140 thank you cards were distributed to local Veterans and 20 care packages were delivered to Veterans residing at Arcadia Gardens Retirement Hotel and Arcadia Living. The care packages have been graciously donated by Operation Gratitude and Operation: Care and Comfort. VINTAGE LIGHTING SYSTEM SHORTING OUT
The Public Works Services Department has received reports of non-functioning streetlights on Altura Rd. Upon inspection, staff found a short in the 6.6-amp lighting feed. While the failure point has been identified, the equipment to make the repairs requires a special order and will not arrive for several weeks. As the November Special Election ends next week, we are getting more questions about where people can go to drop off their ballots or to vote in person.
