This week, the owners of The Ivy assisted living project on the former Coco’s site pulled their permits and will be starting construction in the coming days. A construction fence has been installed and there is already more activity on the site in preparation.

Around this time last year, there was much heated discussion regarding the proposed Elara housing project in the County unincorporated area at 4217 E. On Monday, November 10, over 100 participants attended the annual Veterans Day Celebration at the Arcadia Community Center. This lunch and ceremony honored and recognized Military Veterans throughout the City of Arcadia.
