THE IVY ASSISTED LIVING PULLS PERMITS
This week, the owners of The Ivy assisted living project on the former Coco’s site pulled their permits and will be starting construction in the coming days. A construction fence has been installed and there is already more activity on the site in preparation.


ELARA DISCUSSIONS RETURNING
Around this time last year, there was much heated discussion regarding the proposed Elara housing project in the County unincorporated area at 4217 E. Live Oak Ave. We have learned this week that another round of discussions is taking place as the development is changing somewhat. Arcadia Veterans Day Celebration
On Monday, November 10, over 100 participants attended the annual Veterans Day Celebration at the Arcadia Community Center. This lunch and ceremony honored and recognized Military Veterans throughout the City of Arcadia. Veterans who attended received care packages from Operation Gratitude and Operation Care and Comfort, fresh orchard leis, and picture frames.
