Community Craft Fair On Saturday, October 24, 300 individuals attended the Annual Community Craft Fair. Handmade art, crafts, and seasonal items were available for purchase. The event included live music by guitarist Mina Boktar and raffle drawings for prizes made by the crafters.

Fit & Talk - On Thursday, October 22, 25 seniors participated in the weekly Fit & Talk program, a mix of movement, fun, and social connection. This week participants followed a Halloween themed 30-minute seated Zumba video.

On Thursday, October 15, 29 seniors enjoyed a special culinary excursion to Din Tai Fung as part of the monthly Taste the Town program. This program invites guests to experience some of Arcadia’s vibrant local dining. Thanks to the team’s efforts in securing a highly sought-after reservation, participants got to sample six of the restaurants’ most popular dishes.

On Friday, October 2, the Recreation and Community Services Department hosted the annual Father Daughter Dance with 139 participants in attendance. For this year’s Stars of the Red-Carpet theme, participants came dressed in Oscar worthy attire, including suites, tiaras, and stunning dresses. On Thursday, September 17, 17 seniors participated in the monthly Taste the Town excursion, a popular program that invites guests to experience some of Arcadia’s vibrant local dining. This month, the group visited Shwe Taung @ 305 N. Santa Anita Ave., A, Arcadia to experience authentic Burmese cuisine. This Cozy Burmese eatery offers coconut chicken noodles and Tea leaf salad.

The City has received a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) application for the return of Enchant Christmas at Santa Anita Park for the 2026 holiday season. This year’s event will be similar to the 2025 event, with modifications to attendance, attractions, hours, parking, and operations. The event is proposed from November 18, 2026, through January 3, 2027. This year, the maximum daily attendance will be reduced from 19,500 to 16,000 attendees. Cold Duck performed 70’s hits while 700 attendees danced on the new spacious dance floor. At dusk, 250 people watched Charlotte’s Web. ARCADIA, CA - The City of Arcadia proudly announces the 2026 free Summer Concerts & Movies in the Park every Thursday from June 25 through July 30, 2026. Concerts will begin at 6:30pm and movies at dusk. Kids can enjoy the fun zone area with plenty of games, crafts, and activities. The events will be held at City Hall Lawn located at 240 West Huntington Drive between City Hall and the Police Department. Free parking will be available at City Hall and Santa Anita Park, Gate 5.

626 Night Market is back! – A fan favorite, the 626 Night Market was approved to hold their event this year. They are hosting two (2) weekend events on June 19–21 and August 14–16. Additional details will be provided as they become available.

On Tuesday, February 10, seniors had the opportunity to receive free blood pressure screenings at the Arcadia Community Center, thanks to the dedicated nurses from USC Arcadia Hospital. With the support of volunteers, a total of 9 seniors participated in the health check. Free blood pressure screenings are offered every second Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. at the Arcadia Community Center.
