The members of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Arcadia will celebrate Halloween by inviting families of all faiths to join them at their ninth annual, FREE, fun-filled Halloween event, Trunk or Treat, to be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019, from 6:15 to 8:00 pm. Church members will create a ghostly adventure suitable for children of all ages in the church parking lot at 400 W Duarte Road in Arcadia. Last year, over 250 children along with their parents and friends enjoyed this traditional Halloween event.
Congregation members will open the trunks of their cars revealing creative and elaborate Halloween decorations. Children are invited to visit each car and receive a special treat. Children should bring a goodie bag and remember that costumes are welcome for all. Adding to this fun-filled evening, professional puppeteer Kevin Noonchester will present a special Halloween version of The Three Little Pigs
Event organizers say this is one of their all-time favorite activities because it is always so much fun and it provides them an opportunity to serve the community by offering a safe alternative to the traditional door-to-door visits by little ghouls and goblins.
No reservations are required. For more information, call Lynne or Vern Whitaker at 626-446-7860.
