What’s new in the local schools? Are there many changes in the curriculum? Are building projects in progress on some campuses? These and other questions will be answered by superintendents from local school districts when they speak at a meeting of the California Retired Teachers’ Association #71 (CalRTA-SGV). The administrators will share their school districts’ highlights, tell of any long-range facilities projects, describe their goals for student success, and much more in brief presentations.
The CalRTA #71 luncheon meeting will take place on Friday, April 14, at 11:30 a.m. at the Senior Center Building in Arcadia Park (county park), 405 W. Santa Anita Ave., Arcadia, next to the Lawn Bowling Greens, Arcadia. The cost of the luncheon for those who pay at the door is $13. As an alternative to the hot meal, a tuna salad is available.
