Tempeh – a nutrient dense soy product that is not only full of health benefits but also delicious and versatile to cook with in the kitchen. Come to our February Handcrafting! class where you will learn how to safely ferment tempeh at home using a starter culture. Tempeh, like all ferments, takes some time; this workshop will showcase the tempeh making process at different stages in the fermentation process, so that you will know what to expect when making tempeh at home. Each participant will sample various styles of tempeh and prepare their own portion of tempeh to take home and ferment.
