Wreck closes Colorado St.

Early Saturday morning (April 30) Arcadia police shut down Colorado Street from Colorado Place to Newcastle Park near Santa Anita Avenue.
The closure was due to a car accident at Santa Rosa St. The driver of the white sedan evidently fell asleep and his car struck a utility pole directly in the center of the front of the car. The impact apparently threw the car up over the curb where it landed the opposite direction facing the street.
The street ha to be closed because the impact of the car caused the utility pole to lean dangerously across the street.
