The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the

week of November 23 – 29, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types

recorded for this period:

Sunday, November 23

At 2:10 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 400 block of South Baldwin Avenue. Upon arrival, fire

personnel found an 80-year-old female exhibiting stroke symptoms. The patient

received a 12-lead electrocardiogram (EKG), blood glucose check, intravenous

therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.


Monday, November 24

At 11:35 p.m., Truck 105 responded to a report of a broken water main in the 12000

block of Clark Street. Upon arrival, fire personnel found water actively flowing into

the street and mitigated the issue. Arcadia Public Works Department was notified

and arrived on scene to shut off the water supply.


Tuesday, November 25

At 2:26 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 1200 block of West Huntington Drive. Fire personnel found a

58-year-old male with a chief complaint of a syncopal episode. The patient received

a full medical evaluation, 12-lead EKG, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital

for further treatment.


Wednesday, November 26

At 8:49 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to the 100

block of West Duarte Road for a person down. Fire personnel arrived to find a 63-

year-old female suffering from syncopal episode. The patient received intravenous

therapy, cardiac monitoring, blood glucose testing, medications, and was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.


Thursday, November 27

At 6:02 p.m., Engine 105, Engine 106, Truck 105, and Battalion 105 responded to the

100 block of Las Tunas Drive for a reported gas leak inside a residence. Fire personnel

arrived to find a significant amount of natural gas inside the residence and began

evacuating and investigating the source. The source turned out to be a stove that

was left on after holiday meal preparation. The stove was turned off, the residence

was ventilated, and occupants were allowed to return inside after it was cleared by

atmospheric monitoring.


Friday, November 28

At 12:35 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 1700 block of Holly Avenue. Upon arrival, fire personnel found

a 93-year-old male with a complaint of a syncopal episode and an altered level of

consciousness. The patient received a full medical evaluation, a 12-lead EKG,

intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further

treatment.


Saturday, November 29

At 2:54 p.m., Engine 106, BLS 106, and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a

reported traffic collision near the intersection of West Duarte Road and Sunset

Boulevard. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a two-vehicle traffic collision resulting

in one patient. The patient was suffering from right lower leg pain and was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment. Arcadia Police

Department assisted with traffic control and removed the vehicles from the roadway.
