Fire Department Weekly Report - week of July 5 – 11, 2026

The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of July 5 – 11, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories

recorded for this period:

Sunday, July 5

At 4:23 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident

in the 400 block of Woodruff Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 5-year-old

male having an acute allergic reaction. The patient received a full medical evaluation

which included an electrocardiogram (EKG), intravenous and oxygen therapies, and

was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.

Monday, July 6

At 6:18 p.m., Engine 105 responded to the 100 block of Genoa Street for an alarm

activation. Fire personnel arrived and found a smoke-filled home with a carbon

monoxide alarm activation due to burnt food. The structure was ventilated and the

atmosphere was monitored to ensure the residence was safe to reoccupy. No

damage and no injuries occurred during this incident.

Tuesday, July 7

At 11:32 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to the

intersection of Huntington Drive and Centennial Way for a two-vehicle traffic

collision. Fire personnel arrived and found one driver who was visibly shaken but

reported no physical injuries. Although the driver requested an evaluation due to

stress, they ultimately declined transport and were released on scene.

Wednesday, July 8

At 6:06 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical incident

in the 300 block of Santa Anita Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 35-year-

old male with a deformed ankle and associated pain after falling approximately 8

feet while rock climbing. The patient received an air splint to stabilize the ankle, EKG,

intravenous therapy, pain medication, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital

for further care.

Thursday, July 9

At 8:05 a.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a report

of a fall in the 400 block of Huntington Drive. Fire personnel arrived and found a 96-

year-old female with a complaint of hip pain after a fall. The patient received a full

trauma assessment which included an EKG, intravenous therapy, pain medication,

and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.

Friday, July 10

At 11:45 a.m., Truck 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical incident

in the 100 block of Live Oak Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 42-year-old

female with a chief complaint of seizures. The patient received a full medical

evaluation which included an EKG, oxygen and intravenous therapies, and was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.

Saturday, July 11

At 11:55 a.m., Truck 105 responded to a report of a leaking hydrant in the 400 block

of San Miguel Drive. Fire personnel arrived and found a construction contractor

illegally utilizing water from a hydrant without required permit and proper

equipment. Arcadia Police Department was dispatched to issue a citation.
