The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of November 30 – December 6, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident

types recorded for this period:

Sunday, November 30

At 9:21 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 1600 block of Baldwin Avenue. Fire personnel found a 92-

year-old female in cardiac arrest. The patient received CPR, cardiac monitoring,

intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further

treatment.

Monday, December 1

At 10:20 a.m., Engine 105 and Truck 105 responded to an elevator rescue in the 400

block of Huntington Drive. Upon arrival, fire personnel found multiple occupants in

a stalled elevator car between the second and third floors and secured the power

supply to make non-destructive access to remove all occupants safely. No one was

injured or required further care.

Tuesday, December 2

At 8:17 a.m., Engine 106, Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 106, and Battalion 105

responded to the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Arcadia Avenue for a

reported traffic collision with an overturned car and person trapped. Fire personnel

arrived and found a 71-year-old male that had self-extricated and was suffering from

shoulder pain; however, denied further care.

Wednesday, December 3

At 5:16 p.m., Truck 105 responded to the 100 block of Huntington Drive for a reported

gas leak. Fire personnel arrived and found a significant amount of natural gas at the

exterior of the structure and began evacuating and investigating the source. The

source was found to be pool equipment that had recently been serviced. The

equipment was turned off, the area ventilated and was confirmed by atmospheric

monitoring, and the area was reopened to the public.

Thursday, December 4

At 6:20 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 800 block of Coronado Drive. Upon arrival, fire personnel

found a 91-year-old male with a complaint of altered mental status. The patient

received a 12-lead electrocardiogram (EKG), blood glucose check, intravenous

therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.

Friday, December 5

At 12:24 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 400 block of Santa Anita Avenue. Upon arrival, fire personnel

found a 27-year-old female in a postictal state following seizure activity. The patient

received a 12-lead EKG, blood glucose check, intravenous therapy, oxygen, and was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.Saturday, December 6

At 5:59 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a report of an

auto collision with fuel leaking in the 1700 block of First Avenue. Upon arrival, fire

personnel found a vehicle leaking fuel into the street but was non-injury. Fire

personnel quickly used absorbent powder to contain the fuel, preventing it from

reaching nearby storm drains. A plug was used to stop the leak and further removal

of the fuel was handled by the towing service.
