Natalie Innocenzi, the reigning Rose Queen, is the Arcadia Public Library‘s newest poster girl, adorning the latest in the library’s series of READ posters and related bookmarks.
Arcadia's Natalie Innocenzi on Arcadia Public Library's newest READ poster
The Arcadia Library posters, which are patterned after the American Library Association’s Celebrity READ posters designed to encourage children to read that began in 1985 with Bill Cosby, have included local celebrities and heroes including police and city workers and, for the last three years in a row, the Rose Queens who have each been from Arcadia.
In fact, in a reference to Arcadia being chosen two years in a row by Business Week magazine as the best city in all of California to raise kids, the newest poster proclaims Arcadia as “Best Place to Raise Rose Queens.”
Natalie graduated from Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in June.
You can pick up one of the new bookmarks featuring Natalie at the library, and see all the READ posters.
