Press Conference 10/5 for Two Arcadia High Students Named to Rose Parade Royal Court

The Arcadia Unified School District will be holding a press conference tomorrow, Wednesday 10/5/16, at Arcadia High School at 11:15 a.m. Arcadia High School students Maya Khan and Emi Powers have been selected for the 2017 Rose Parade Royal Court. With more than 1,000 applicants this year, Arcadia High School had six of the 34 finalists, and now two of the seven Royal Court members. This is the first time since 2011 that Arcadia High School has had a representative on the prestigious Royal Court. The Arcadia High School Marching Band will also be participating in the upcoming Rose Parade for the 16th time.
Both Maya and Emi will be available for media questions and photographs. AUSD Superintendent Dr. Vannasdall, AUSD Board of Education members, other AUSD staff, and a representative from the Rose Parade will be on hand to congratulate Maya and Emi, and they will also be available for interviews.
