Museum exhibit: myths & fables

A new exhibit at the Arcadia Historical Museum called “Myth and Fable: Stories From Our Ancient Pasts” opens Dec. 19 and continues through March 6.

The exhibit delves into the memory of our ancient pasts as it presents tales that were told by our ancestors, from parent to child, by the winter fireside. Learn sagas from animals that talk, read about monsters of the deep and walk beside heroes that still, today, invoke the hero in us all.

The Arcadia Historical Museum is located at 380 W. Huntington Drive, immediately behind the Community Center.  The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission is always free.
