Free tickets for Spazmatics

Readers of ArcadiasBest.com are eligible for free tickets to the final Summer Soundzz concert of the season featuring the Spazmatics at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, Aug. 12, under the stars at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium Plaza.

Those interested in seeing the ‘80’s cover band perform need only send an e-mail right away to info@arcadiasbest.com, providing your name and e-mail address. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail with instructions on where and how to  pick up your tickets.. Ticket prices normally range from $20 to $50.

Formed in 2005, Spazmatics band members Geoffrey, Cecil, Bjorn and Al list the following among their musical influences: Rick Springfield, Devo, Billy Idol, Big Country, Berlin, Duran Duran, The GoGos, Kym Wilde, Culture Club, WHAM, Depeche Mode, Adam Ant, The Romantics, INXS, Dead or Alive, New Order, and The Clash.

“There are few bands that can move an audience like The Spazmatics,” said André Vener, Producer and President of Pasadena Entertainment. Held in the sprawling outdoor plaza in front of the Civic Auditorium at 300 E. Green Street, concerts start at 7:30 p.m., with gates opening at 6:30 p.m.
