Westfield Santa Anita has teamed up with the City of Arcadia to deliver another summer of FREE Family Flicks every Wednesday, July 11 through Aug. 15, including pre-show entertainment from Radio Disney, dining discounts from the center’s participating restaurants and more. Families are invited to relax and spend quality time together as they enjoy popular family-friendly films and beautiful weather outdoors on The Promenade.
“It is our pleasure to provide the community with quality entertainment and memorable family experiences throughout the year,” said Amanda Glover, Director of Marketing for Westfield Santa Anita. “The Free Family Flicks series is a community favorite during the summer and we have an amazing line-up of movies this year, as well as the always-exciting pre-show entertainment provided by Radio Disney. It’s going to be a lot of fun!”
The festivities kick off at 6:30 pm each Wednesday night with the Radio Disney Street Team, followed by the movie. Screenings include:
· July 11 – Despicable Me (PG) · July 18 – Puss in Boots (PG) · July 25 – The Incredibles (PG) · August 1 – Winnie the Pooh (G) · August 8 – Cars 2 (G) · August 15 – Zookeeper (PG)

All screenings are on The Promenade located outside of Macy’s (by Red Robin and Charming Charlie) on the second level. Westfield Santa Anita provides padded folding chairs and bean bag seating for families (guests are not permitted to bring their own chairs). Space is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis―attendees can arrive as early as 5:30 pm to reserve their spot for the screenings, which begin at dusk (approximately 8 pm).
For hungry movie goers, a brochure with information on dining discounts at select restaurants and eateries will be available. Viewers can enjoy dinner to-go from one of Westfield Santa Anita’s many restaurants, including The Cheesecake Factory, Red Robin, Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill, Dave & Buster’s, Bar Louie and Johnny Rockets, to name a few. Families can also take advantage of exclusive dining discounts, such as California Pizza Kitchen’s “buy an adult entree, and receive a free kid’s meal” offer. Westfield Santa Anita offers a number of delicious options for snacks as well, including Cinnabon, Kernel’s Extraordinary Popcorn, Dolci Mango, Mrs. Field’s Cookies and more.
