First Avenue Middle School is staging a rock band and choir concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in the First Avenue Auditorium, 301 S. First Avenue.
Tickets at the door are $5.
Please make any checks for tickets to: Arcadia Child Health Council (NOT First Avenue Music Club). All proceeds to benefit the Arcadia Child Health Council, a private, non-profit organization founded in 1937 that provides financial assistance for health, dental and mental health services for children in Arcadia who are unable to afford treatment otherwise.
First Avenue Middle School’s renown music program is led by Mike Danielson, “Mr. D,” California’s unanimous nominee for the National Education Association Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence in 2009. First Avenue’s music program has a long history of contributing to local children’s charities through holiday concerts.
