Fire Department Weekly Report - week of June 21 - 27, 2026

The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of June 21 - 27, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories
recorded for this period:

Sunday, June 21

At 9:52 a.m., USAR 106 responded to Monrovia for a
reported vehicle into structure near the 100 block of
East Colorado Boulevard. Upon arrival, Monrovia fire
units found a solo vehicle into a building. Paramedics
performed a full medical assessment on the driver and
3 occupants inside of the vehicle. USAR 106 personnel
were assigned to stabilize the damaged structure
utilizing spot shores to restore support to the load
bearing components of the structure. All patients were
treated and transported to local area hospitals.

USAR 106 personnel completed the shoring operation, and the Monrovia building department deemed the structure uninhabitable until full restoration of the structural components is completed.
Monday, June 22
At 23:42 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical
incident in the 12000 block of Lower Azusa Road. Fire personnel found a 26-year-old
make with a crush injury to his foot from an industrial accident. A full medical
evaluation and trauma assessment was performed, including vitals, 12-lead EKG,
oxygen, and IV therapies. The patient was transported by Rescue Ambulance 105 to
Huntington Hospital for further evaluation and appropriate notifications were made
to Cal/OSHA.
Tuesday, June 23
At 14:50 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical
incident in the 400 block of West Huntington Drive. Fire personnel found a 71-year-
old male with a chief complaint of dangerously low blood pressure. A full medical
evaluation was performed, including vitals, 12-lead EKG, oxygen, and IV therapies.
The patient was transported by Rescue Ambulance 105 to USC Arcadia Hospital for
further evaluation.
Wednesday, June 24
At 12:15 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to the
1500 block of Holly Avenue for a person reported down inside their home.
Firefighters arrived to find a 78-year-old altered female. Paramedics arrived andinitiated advanced life support protocols including, 12-lead electrocardiogram, blood
glucose testing, intravenous access and transport to USC Arcadia Hospital.
Thursday, June 25
At 7:25 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the 500 block of
East Live Oak Avenue for a reported erratic person. Firefighters arrived to find a 56-
year-old female suffering from a severe case of sepsis. Paramedics arrived and
initiated advanced life support protocols including, 12-lead electrocardiogram, blood
glucose testing, intravenous access and transport to USC Arcadia Hospital.
Friday, June 26
At 8:43 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106 and BLS106 responded to a
reported traffic collision at the intersection of North Baldwin Avenue and Harvard
Drive. Upon arrival, Engine 106 personnel found a two-vehicle traffic collision with
two patients. One vehicle struck another vehicle at the intersection. Rescue
Ambulance 106 personnel initiated patient care on one patient, and the other patient
refused medical care. Paramedics performed a full medical assessment on the
injured driver and found the patient was experiencing left leg pain from the impact.
The patient was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital by BLS 106 for further
evaluation. The Arcadia Police Department assisted with traffic control and removal
of the vehicles from the roadway.
Saturday, June 27
At 12:28 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident near the 1600 block of South Baldwin Avenue. Upon arrival, Engine
106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 found a 75-year-old male with a complaint of altered
mental status. Paramedics performed a series of tests on the patient and were
unable to identify the etiology of the altered mental status. Fire personnel obtained
a 12-lead electrocardiogram, blood glucose check, intravenous access, and Rescue
Ambulance 106 transported the patient to USC Arcadia Hospital for further
treatment.
