Fire Department Weekly Report - week of June 14 - 20, 2026

The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the

week of June 14 - 20, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories

recorded for this period:




Sunday, June 14

At 3:12 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a

reported traffic collision at the intersection of South Santa Anita Avenue and Live Oak

Avenue. Upon arrival, Engine 105 personnel found a two-vehicle traffic collision with

two patients. One vehicle struck another vehicle at the intersection. Rescue

Ambulance 105 personnel initiated patient care on one patient, and the other patient

refused medical care. Paramedics performed a full medical assessment on the

injured driver and found the patient was experiencing non-cardiac chest pain

consistent with the seat belt tensioning upon impact. The patient was transported to

USC Arcadia Hospital by BLS 106 for further evaluation. The Arcadia Police

Department assisted with traffic control and removal of the vehicles from the

roadway.


Monday, June 15

At 3:42 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident near the 400 block of South Baldwin Avenue. Upon arrival, Engine

106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 found a 21-year-old male postictal following seizure

activity. Fire personnel performed a full medical evaluation which included a 12-lead

electrocardiogram, blood glucose check, and a complete set of vital signs.

Paramedics obtained intravenous access, administered oxygen, and transported the

patient to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.


Tuesday, June 16

At 7:33 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and Rescue Ambulance 105

responded to a medical incident in the 400 block of Los Altos Avenue. Fire personnel

found two adult patients suffering from severe burn injuries from an apparent

accidental ignition of alcohol being used for cleaning. Both patients were rapidly

assessed, treated and transported to Huntington Hospital.


Wednesday, June 17

At 4:09 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 800 block of West Huntington Drive. Fire personnel found a

55-year-old female with a chief complaint of chest pain. A full medical evaluation was

performed, including vitals, 12 lead EKG, oxygen, and IV therapies. The patient was

transported by Rescue Ambulance 106 to Huntington Hospital for further evaluation.


Thursday, June 18

At 6:24 p.m., Engine 105, Engine 106, Engine 107, Truck 105 and Battalion 105

responded to assist Monrovia Fire units with a fully involved commercial warehouse

fire on Chestnut Avenue. Truck 105 was assigned to ladder pipe operations and all

engine companies on scene utilized master stream appliances to limit horizontal fire

growth and to limit the damage to the original fire building.


Friday, June 19

At 6:24 a.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 and BLS106 responded to a

reported traffic collision at Baldwin and Naomi Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find a

two-vehicle traffic collision with two occupants impacted, one adult male denied

treatment and or evaluation and one 24-year-old female victim with neck pain was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further evaluation.


Saturday, June 13

At 10:42 a.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical

incident near the 300 block of Fifth Avenue. Upon arrival, Engine 105 and Rescue

Ambulance 105 found a 65-year-old female exhibiting stroke symptoms. Paramedics

performed a series of stroke tests on the patient and identified the patient was

experiencing a stroke. Fire personnel obtained a 12-lead electrocardiogram, blood

glucose check, established intravenous access, and transported the patient to USC

Arcadia Hospital via Rescue Ambulance 105 for further treatment.
