The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of January 25 – 31, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident types
recorded for this period:

Sunday, January 25
At 1:16 p.m., Engine 105, Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 105 and BLS 106 responded
to the westbound 210 Freeway at the Santa Anita overpass for a traffic collision. Fire
personnel arrived and found a two-vehicle traffic collision involving three occupants;
however, only one patient requested treatment. The 59-year-old female later denied
transport.
Monday, January 26
At 6:48 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a reported assault
victim in the 900 block of Huntington Drive. Fire personnel arrived and found a
person oriented and denied further care.
Tuesday, January 27
At 8:05 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident
in the 100 block of Wheeler Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found an 84-year-old
female exhibiting stroke symptoms. The patient received a 12-lead
electrocardiogram (EKG), blood glucose check, intravenous therapy and was
transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Wednesday, January 28
At 2:31 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106 and BLS 106 responded to a medical
incident in the 1500 block of Cambury Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 6-
month-old female exhibiting signs of an allergic reaction. The patient received
intravenous therapy, Benadryl and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for
further care.
Thursday, January 29
At 9:47 a.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident
in the 500 block of Campesina Road. Fire personnel arrived and found an 83-year-
old male with a complaint of a syncopal episode. The patient received a 12-lead EKG,
blood glucose check, intravenous therapy, oxygen and was transported to USC
Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Friday, January 30
At 1:26 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 105 and BLS 106 responded to a medical
incident in the 1600 block of Baldwin Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found an
84-year-old female with a chief complaint of stroke symptoms. The patient received
a 12-lead EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy and was transported to USC Arcadia
Hospital for further care.
Saturday, January 31
At 1:45 p.m., Engine 105, Engine 106, Engine 107, Engine 41, Truck 105, Truck 101,
Rescue Ambulance 106 and Battalion 105 responded to the 400 block of West DuarteRoad for a reported multi-family dwelling fire. Fire personnel arrived and found
smoke coming from a second-story unit. Investigation revealed a dryer fire, and it
was quickly extinguished. One minor injury was reported; however, the resident
denied care. No fire extension occurred.
