The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of May 3 – 9, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories
recorded for this period:

Sunday, May 3
At 6:31 a.m., Engine 107 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical incident
in the 1800 block of Anita Crest Drive. Fire personnel arrived and found a 4-year-old
female with a complaint of seizure. The patient received an electrocardiogram (EKG),
intravenous therapy, blood glucose check, and was transported to USC Arcadia
Hospital for further care.
Monday, May 4
At 8:08 a.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 600 block of Duarte Road. Fire personnel arrived and found a
66-year-old female with a chief complaint of chest pain and dyspnea. The patient
received a 12-lead EKG, intravenous therapy, aspirin and nitroglycerin, and was
transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Tuesday, May 5
At 4:36 p.m., Engine 105, Engine 107, Truck 105, and Battalion 105 responded to a
report of an electrical fire in the 100 block of First Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and
found a two-story commercial building with a strong odor of smoke inside and
located the source of the smoke which was coming from a smoldering electrical
outlet on the second floor. Power in the area was shut off, and the wall was opened
to confirm there was no fire behind the wall. The outlet was secured prior to leaving
the scene.

Wednesday, May 6
At 3:51 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident
in the 600 block of Duarte Road. Fire personnel arrived and found a 65-year-old male
patient with an altered level of consciousness during dialysis treatment. The patient
received a 12-lead EKG, intravenous and oxygen therapies, and was transported to
USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Thursday, May 7
At 6:08 p.m., Engine 106, Engine 105, Engine 107, Truck 105, Truck 32, Rescue
Ambulance 106, and Battalion 105 responded to a reported multi-family dwelling fire.
Fire personnel arrived and found a two-story condominium complex with smoke
showing to the rear. Fire personnel forced entry into the home and found heavy
smoke and fire on the second floor extending into the attic space and adjacent unit.
No injuries occurred during this incident.
Friday, May 8
At 1:49 a.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to the 1600 block of
Baldwin Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 60-year-old female with difficulty
breathing. The patient received a 12-lead EKG, blood glucose testing, intravenous
therapy, medications, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Saturday, May 9
At 10:16 a.m., Engine 107 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical
incident in the 100 block of Forest Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 76-
year-old male exhibiting stroke symptoms. The patient received a 12-lead EKG, blood
glucose check, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for
further care.
