The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the
week of May 10 – 16, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories recorded for this period:

Sunday, May 10
At 7:36 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident
in the 2500 block of El Monte Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 14-year-old
male with a chief complaint of left wrist pain after a fall while riding an electric
scooter. The patient received a full trauma evaluation which included an
electrocardiogram (EKG), an air splint to immobilize the deformed wrist, and was
transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Monday, May 11
At 8:08 a.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident
in the 700 block of Camino Real Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 91-year-
old male patient with an altered level of consciousness. The patient received a 12-
lead EKG, intravenous and oxygen therapies, and was transported to USC Arcadia
Hospital for further care.
Tuesday, May 12
At 7:45 a.m., Engine 107, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 200 block of Floral Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found
a 41-year-old female with a chief complaint of difficulty breathing. The patient
received a 12-lead EKG, oxygen and intravenous therapies, and was transported to
USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Wednesday, May 13
At 6:20 p.m., Engine 106, Engine 105, and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the
eastbound 210 Freeway for a traffic collision. Fire personnel arrived and found two
occupants. One occupant declined evaluation, treatment, and transport. The second
occupant, reporting neck and back pain, was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital.
The scene was released to California Highway Patrol.
Thursday, May 14
At 8:19 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to the 3000
block of Baldwin Avenue for a person in respiratory distress. Fire personnel arrived
and found a 23-year-old female experiencing a behavioral crisis. The patient was
treated, cared for, and released on scene to family members.
Friday, May 15
At 10:15 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 1100 block of Duarte Road. Fire personnel arrived and found
a 94-year-old female exhibiting stroke symptoms. The patient received a 12-lead EKG,
blood glucose check, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia
Hospital for further care.
Saturday, May 16
At 11:04 a.m., Engine 106, Truck 105, and Battalion 105 responded to a commercial
structure fire in the 1100 block of Las Tunas Drive in San Gabriel. Fire personnel
arrived and found a gas line that had ruptured and ignited due to an electrical
malfunction. The fire was contained and all Arcadia units were released from the
scene.
