The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of April 20 – 26, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types recorded for this period:



Sunday, April 20

At 8:33 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a report

of a fall in the 200 block of West Huntington Drive. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a

26-year-old male with a complaint of head and left shoulder pain after falling off a horse.

The patient received a full trauma assessment, which included an electrocardiogram

(EKG), intravenous therapy, pain medication, and was transported to Huntington Hospital

for further treatment.

Monday, April 21

At 6:26 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a medical

incident in the 300 block of East Huntington Drive. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a

63-year-old male with a complaint of a syncopal episode. The patient received a full

medical evaluation, which included a 12-lead EKG, intravenous therapy, and was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.

Tuesday, April 22

At 8:16 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a report

of a multi-vehicle collision in the 900 block of West Duarte Road. Upon arrival, fire

personnel found one patient with a chief complaint of a traumatic injury to her right arm.

The patient received a full medical and trauma evaluation and was transported to USC

Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.

Wednesday, April 23

At 8:16 a.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a report of a medical

incident in the 100 block of Genoa Street. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a 31-year-

old male with a chief complaint of localized neurological symptoms. The patient received

a full medical evaluation, which included intravenous therapy, 12-lead EKG, blood

glucose check, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.

Thursday, April 24

At 8:06 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical incident in

the 100 block of Alta Street. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a 13-year-old male with an

allergic reaction of hives covering his body and dyspnea after ingesting peanut butter

candy. The patient received a full medical evaluation, which included intravenous therapy,

oxygen therapy, Benadryl to reverse the reaction, and was transported to USC Arcadia

Hospital for further treatment.

Friday, April 25

At 1:43 p.m., Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to the 200

block of East Live Oak Avenue for a reported weak person. Fire personnel arrived to find

a 90-year-old female in full cardiac arrest inside a care facility. The patient received a 12-

lead EKG, intravenous therapy, blood glucose testing, medications, CPR, and was

revived and transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.

Saturday, April 26

At 3:27 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident in

the 200 block of West Live Oak Avenue. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a 27-year-old

female with a chief complaint of diffuse abdominal pain. The patient received a full medical

evaluation, which included a 12-lead EKG, intravenous therapy, anti-nausea medication,

and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
