The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of September 28 – October 4, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident
types recorded for this period:

Sunday, September 28
At 2:08 p.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the 100 block of
Bonita Street for a reported fire alarm. Fire personnel arrived to find an activated
carbon monoxide alarm. Further investigation with instrumentation revealed no
carbon monoxide inside the home. The detector was faulty, and the onsite manager
was notified.
Monday, September 29
At 10:26 a.m., Engine 107, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 300 block of San Luis Rey Road. Upon arrival, fire personnel
found a 72-year-old male with a complaint of altered mental status as the result of
low blood glucose level. The patient received a 12-lead electrocardiogram (EKG),
intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further
treatment.
Tuesday, September 30
At 11:12 a.m., Engine 107 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical
incident in the 400 block of West Duarte Road. Upon arrival, fire personnel found an
82-year-old male exhibiting stroke symptoms. The patient received a 12-lead EKG,
blood glucose check, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia
Hospital for further treatment.
Wednesday, October 1
At 4:50 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 300 block of San Luis Rey Road. Upon arrival, fire personnel
found a 73-year-old female with neurological deficits. The patient received a stroke
test, intravenous therapy, EKG, and was transported to the nearest stroke center for
further treatment.
Thursday, October 2
At 11:37 a.m., Engine 107, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
motorcycle accident on the eastbound 210 Freeway and found a 21-year-old female
with multi-system trauma and fractured extremities. The patient received a 12-lead
EKG, intravenous therapy, pain management, and was transported to Huntington
Hospital for further treatment.
Friday, October 3
At 12:24 p.m., Engine 107 responded to the 1200 block of Oak Glen Avenue for a
reported animal problem. Fire personnel arrived and met a resident reporting
hearing a snake under an outside deck but were unable to locate it. Pasadena
Humane Society and California Fish and Game Department were notified, and fire
personnel cleared the scene.
Saturday, October 4
At 3:09 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 300 block of West Naomi Drive. Upon arrival, fire personnel
found a 51-year-old female exhibiting stroke symptoms. The patient received a 12-
lead EKG, blood glucose reading, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC
Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
