Justine and Jeniffer Hsu, and Josephine Lau

Evoke is a group of recent former Arcadia High School graduates founded last year by Jeniffer Hsu, Justine Hsu, and Josephine Lau. In addition to the web site linked above, the group also has an Evoke Dance Group Facebook page.

Tickets for the show that benefits “Feed the Children” are $15 and can be purchased online here at Brown Paper Tickets.

Evoke Dance Group are already demonstrating their mission to “dance, evoke, and give.” Jeniffer, Justine and Josephine helped choreograph Saturday’s unprecedented Arcadia Chamber of Commerce flash mob of 100 dancers at Santa Anita Park to raise awareness for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. And all three founders and many members of Evoke donated many hours providing dance instruction late in the evenings at Arcadia Fitness Center over the past month after their long hours working their “day jobs.” Almost all the flash mob participants were completely inexperienced dancers and ranged in age from five to 75, but Evoke had them all looking like pros and made sure everyone had a great time performing in front of 15,000 surprised race fans at Santa Anita.
