Attempted Residential Burglary

On Saturday, April 1, 2017, at about 9:48 p.m., officers of the Arcadia Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Alta Oaks Drive regarding a residential burglary alarm sounding. Upon arrival officers located the residence from where the alarm was sounding and observed the front door had been forced open. Preliminary investigation revealed a female suspect approached the front door and rang the doorbell. When no one answered, a male suspect kicked open the front door, which activated the burglary alarm and caused them to flee the location without entering.

Surveillance video obtained from the location appeared to show the male suspect was possibly armed with a handgun.

*Suspect #1: Female Black, mid 20’s, long black hair, tattoos on left forearm and right inside wrist/forearm, wearing a dress and necklace.

*Suspect #2: Male, thin build, wearing black gloves, two-toned baseball cap with a dark bill and emblem on the front, a wrist watch on left wrist and holding a black handgun in his right hand.

*Suspect Vehicle: Possible newer model dark colored Toyota Prius.
