5-hour forest music Sunday

Two performers have been added to the monthly live music concert this Sunday, Aug. 15, at Adams’ Pack Station.

That means the free event will be extended to five hours from 12 – 5 p.m.

In addition to the previously announced return of eclectic acoustic guitar player John Zipperer & Friends, singer and guitarist Johm M will perform for the first time, singer/songwriter Jeannie Willets – and Friends will join the fun, and guitarist Dan Roten, a weekly favorite at Bean Town, makes a return appearance in the forest.

On the third Sunday of each month through November local artists play free in the outdoors of the Angeles National Forest next to the picnic area at Chantry Flat from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. while pulled pork and veggie sandwiches are made available for purchase (food also available on Saturdays).

If you would like to play this one-of-a-kind venue, contact co-owner of the Adams’ Pack Station, Deb Burgess by e-mail: dburgess@burcon-group.com.
