Traffic Collision

Shortly after 7:20 PM, on Tuesday March 7, 2017, several persons called to report a traffic collision in the area of Foothill Boulevard at the north extension of Baldwin Avenue. A full-size Ford pickup truck was traveling south on Baldwin Avenue at Foothill Boulevard. A full-size GMC pickup truck was traveling westbound on Foothill Boulevard. Both vehicles collided in the intersection. The 54-year-old driver of the Ford and the 19-year-old driver of the GMC were both transported to a local hospital with significant injuries. Preliminary investigation, and several witnesses, indicated the driver of the GMC ran the red light for westbound traffic.

This incident is being investigated by Arcadia Police Department Detectives and Major Accident Investigation Team.
