Work on adding a third lane for right turns is nearly complete at the Baldwin Ave. offramp of the westbound 210 freeway that takes traffic to Foothill Blvd. (see photos below)
It’s one of many City improvement projects underway right now that can be seen by clicking the index of Arcadia’s Best stories in the category of “Getting Around.”
Deputy Director of Development Services Phil Wray said the improvement was a requirement of the Westfield Santa Anita mall as part of the City’s approval of its expansion earlier this decade.
The scope of the project was to add a third off-ramp lane approaching the Foothill Blvd intersection to help facilitate the right turn movements, he said.
The project is substantially complete and is awaiting final sign installations.
