March 20, 2020 (2:00 p.m.) There are a total of 1,224 positive cases and 23 deaths in California: 24 are from repatriation flights. The other 1,200 confirmed cases include 92 that are travel-related, 122 due to person-to-person transmission, 325 community-acquired cases, and 657 are under investigation.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the risk of contracting an infection is low, but there are steps individuals can take to help minimize and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please visit the City of Arcadia’s Novel Coronavirus page for more information.
