The Summer Showcase is an annual open house hosted by AEF, students, and teachers that spotlights the amazing work created by the students. Following up on the success of last year’s event, 2014 promises to be even more jam-packed with exciting music and dance performances, multimedia projects, art displays, science experiments, student-made food and desserts, and our newest tradition: launching a weather balloon into space with the Space Race class!

New events this year will be the “performance” of the Mad Scientist Engineering Challenge class’s room-sized Rube Goldberg chain reaction machine, as well as a silent auction for the Repurpose Art class’s beautiful license plate map of the USA.

All proceeds from the auction, as well as from the sale of refreshments and student-made stenciling and photography postcards, will directly benefit AEF.
