Suicide at Motel 6

On Saturday December 17, 2016, at about 1:33 P.M., officers responded to Motel 6 at 225 W. Colorado Place. A person was found shot inside a hotel room. Officers found the victim, a 20-year-old Hispanic male, deceased inside the room.

Preliminary investigation did not reveal any signs of foul play. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office was notified. The identity of the victim is being withheld until proper notification of the family is completed by the Coroner’s Office.
