Santa Anita-Huntington closed

Call it Arcardia-geddon.

Main Arcadia artery roads Santa Anita Avenue and Huntington Drive will be reduced to one lane each direction with intermittent stops from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 21-22 in order to pave the roads through the newly-widened intersection with additional left turns on northbound and southbound Santa Anita Avenue.

The affected areas:

– Santa Anita Avenue between Alta and Wheeler Streets (Huntington Drive)

– Huntington Drive at Santa Clara Street, through Gate 5/Colorado Place

Please allow for extra time during these hours and use alternate routes if possible.

Colorado Street and Duarte Road may be used for alternate east-west travel. Second Avenue and Baldwin Avenue may be used as north-south alternatives. `
