One of several cabins in Santa Anita Canyon recently up for sale, Cabin 34, has been sold.
Another, Cabin 99, has had a price reduction from $56,000 to $50,000 FIRM (no negotiation).
More details below the followng photos…
These are the cabins located in the moutains and canyon surrounding Chantry Flat picnic area and Adams’ Pack Station, where the trailheads lead to Sturdevant Falls, among other locations.
If you are looking for seclusion but with some nice amenities, then Cabin 99 may be perfect for you. It is located in the Spruce Grove area (4-mile hike in, the equivalent of hiking to Sturdevant Falls and back) and so it does not get the kind of traffic you see in the main canyon. If you are not familiar with Spruce Grove, take a nice hike up and check out the area. Cabin 99 is the first cabin you see above the campground. Having a cabin in the Spruce Grove area gets you way from the madness of the main canyon. Think about the parade that goes through every weekend. You would have peace and quiet.
Cabin 99 features:
Built originally in the early 1940′s
Completely rebuilt except fireplace in early 1990′s
Cabin in great condition
Outhouse is clean and freshly painted
Great view
Next to stream

Working Craftsman chainsaw with extra chains
Skylight
Mouse proof cabin
Sold with all tools and maintenance items
Cabin has no USFS deficiencies and has 2014 fire clearances done and signed off
This is truly a “turnkey” cabin. Even comes with plenty of firewood and a weeks’ worth of food. Ready to use. No repairs or maintenance needed. Buy today, enjoy today. This is a well-maintained awesome cabin and has been a joy to own for the past 19 years. Please contact the pack station for an appointment to see the inside after you have visited it. Call the pack station at 626.447.7356 or email Deb at: dburgess@adamspackstation.com
This is one of the very few that is mouse-proof. Most are barely mouse-resistant. It is tastefully furnished and you cannot beat two queen beds.
The exterior and interior is beautiful. Check out the pictures on our website (http://adamspackstation.com/canyon-life/cabins/cabins-for-sale/ )
