We have approved a temporary use permit for a circus to be held at the Shops at Santa Anita, starting at the end of April.
The event will be similar to the Circus Vargas that has had events at the Race Track for many years, so we expect that it won’t cause any issues. This event will be run by Circo Hermanos Cabellero and has the following characteristics:
• Set up: 4/23 – 4/24
• Shows: 4/25 – 5/6
o Monday to Friday – 1 show at 7.30pm
o Saturday – 2 shows at 4.30 and 7.30pm
o Sundays – 3 shows at 1.00, 4.30 and 7.30pm
• Tear down: 5/7 – 5/8
• Each show will be approximately 1 hour and 45 mins long with a 15-minute interval.
• Each show will have 2-500 in attendance
• There are no animal acts in this circus
