Murder in Fairview apartment

A 47-year-old white man was apparently bludgeoned to death Wednesday in his apartment, according to Arcadia Police.

The murder of Brian H. Kelly took place in the 800 block of Fairview. His younger brother, 44-year-old Michael Thomas Kelly, is a suspect. He left the apartment before police arrived and is now being sought.

Michael Kelly is white, 6-feet tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police responded at approximately 5:20 p.m. Wednesday to a report of an unconscious subject and arrived to find Brian Kelly deceased.

Preliminary investigation revealed Kelly had been bludgeoned. Evidence collected during the course of the investigation implicated Michael Kelly as a possible suspect. A felony warrant for his arrest has been issued.
