Imy Dulake Distinguished Citizen

Imy Dulake has been named a 2015 Distinguished Citizen by the Lucky Baldwin District of the San Gabriel Valley Council Boy Scouts of America. She will be honored at a dinner event on Wednesday, May 27 at the Courtyard Marriott, 700 W. Huntington Drive, Monrovia, along with Monrovian Stephen R. Baker.

Imy, the Executive Sales Director for Coldwell Banker Real Estate in Arcadia, has had a 30-year career in real estate, where she is the top agent in her office and had been named among the top 1% of Coldwell sales agents internationally every year. The former South Korean who immigrated to the United States in 1972 and married an English immigrant, Richard Dulake, 32 years ago, was recognized in 2008 by the Korean Consulate of Los Angeles as Woman of the Year for her community service. Their childen Sean, is an Eagle Scout, and daughter Michelle is a Gold Award recipient. Imy also won an Honorary Service Award for her volunteer work as a Korean/English interpreter for the Arcadia Unified School District, became the Arcadia Rotary Club’s second President in 85 years in 2009-10. She is currently a board member for the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and holds a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

The award honors prominent area leaders who have a wide influence in the business and professional community, while serving as exemplary role models for our young people. Proceeds from the diner will benefit the youth of the Boy Scouts.
