The Arcadia Music Club would like to ask your family to consider hosting students from Denmark the evenings of December 26 – December 30 as they prepare to march in the Rose Parade. This is an amazing opportunity to spend time with students from Europe. It is also a great opportunity to support the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade– a parade with which we have a long history.
The Helsingor Pigegarde Marching Band consists of about 60 female high school age students, all of whom speak English. The students have a busy itinerary that includes the Rose Parade, Band Fest, Disneyland, Santa Monica Pier, and several other events. Your family would provide lodging and some food. Responsibilities of host families:
Provide sleeping accommodations for two female students for a few evenings
Provide breakfast for the students
Transport students to Arcadia High School each day. The students will then ride their charter bus to events
Pick up students at Arcadia high School at the end of the day.
