The historic dedications of all six train stations along the 11.5-mile Gold Line Foothill extension route began August 15, with a dedication ceremony in Arcadia at 10 a.m. on Aug. 22, and concluded Saturday, Sept. 19 with the dedication of the station at the end of the line in Azusa.

Elected officials, along with officials in higher education and transportation, joined close to one thousand community members and the Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority to dedicate the Azusa Downtown Station and APU/Citrus College Station.
The nearly $1 billion, 11.5-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Pasadena to Azusa is on time and on budget to be turned over to Metro for pre-revenue service in the coming days. Metro anticipates starting pre-revenue service this Fall, and passenger service in Spring 2016. A start date for passenger service has not been determined.
