Friends of Foster Children is a non-profit, all volunteer organization founded in 1976 to enhance the quality of life for abused, abandoned and neglected children in the San Gabriel Valley by providing goods, volunteer services and financial support to foster children living in residential treatment centers and emancipated youth.
In addition, FOFC offers a Scholarship Program that awards college and vocational scholarships to promising foster children or emancipated youth in Los Angeles County. Renewable scholarships of $500 for community colleges & vocational schools and $1,000 for four-year colleges and universities. Since May of 2003, FOFC has helped over 80 students graduate from leading California schools.
