On January 30, Waste Management staff and
Arcadia Public Works staff conducted the Recycling Right seminar. Attendees learned how to sort waste properly and how to place different types of waste into the right recycling bins. There were 35 people in
attendance.
On February 2, John Chen, MD, and Ivan Ho, MD from USC Arcadia Hospital conducted a free seminar.
The topic of the seminar was Atrial Fibrillation, the most common type of irregular heartbeat that can lead to heart-related complications. Attendees learned about different symptoms, risk factors, and treatments for atrial fibrillation. There were 25 people in attendance.
