FIRE DEPARTMENT WINS GOLD AWARD

Arcadia Fire Department was awarded the 2017 Mission: Lifeline Gold Award by the Los Angeles County EMS Agency. The award is given to EMS providers with the highest scores in recognizing and treating Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack) patients. This is an award that is based on data the County collects from electronic patient care reports (EPCR) and matched with hospital data to look at total patient care and outcome. In short, our employees know what they’re doing and they document it all properly. Kudos to the staff that made this possible!
