An Arcadia driver trying to elude a police officer on Monday, Feb. 3, lost control of his car and smashed into a house. The report by the Arcadia Police Department:

The vehicle continued to travel west on Huntington Drive and ran through the red light at Sunset Avenue. The vehicle then turned onto Sunset Avenue and crossed Michillinda Avenue where the officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle sped away on California Avenue through Rosemead Boulevard. The driver lost control of his vehicle and collided into a house located on the corner of Sydney and California Avenue in the city of Pasadena.
