The Annual Santa Anita Derby Day 5K Run & Walk at Santa Anita Park is scheduled for Saturday, April 3.
The race will once again allow runners and walkers to run through from the parking lot of the Westfield Santa Anita mall through the picturesque Los Angeles County Arboretum and finish on the horse track with your image shown on the giant video screen at the finish line.

* 6:30 a.m. – Day of race registration opens adjacent to startline. * 7:45 a.m. – Master’s 5K Race (40 and over) * 8:15 a.m. – Open 5K Race (39 and Under) * 8:20 a.m. – 5K Walk * 8:30 a.m. to Noon – Entertainment, Music, Food (Inside Infield) * 9:30 a.m. – Kids registration opens in infield. * 9:30 a.m. – Kids’ 6-Furlong Race and Homestretch Dash 10 – 12 year olds (Inside Infield) * 9:45 a.m. – Kids’ 6-Furlong Race and Homestretch Dash 7 – 9 year olds (Inside Infield) * 10:00 a.m. – Homestretch Dash (6 & under) (Inside Infield) * 10:00 a.m. – Awards Ceremony (Inside Infield) * Noon – 5:00 p.m. – Thoroughbred Racing at Santa Anita Derby Day * 2:45 p.m. – $750,000 Santa Anita Derby
