Coexisting with Wildlife

Have you noticed an increase in coyotes or bears in your neighborhood? The drought and warmer weather have caused wild animals to venture further into our foothill communities in search of food, water and shelter.

Join PHS Interim Wildlife Coordinator Michelle Reyes for a seminar on humanely coexisting with wildlife. Topics include identifying common native species, discouraging critters from visiting your property and what to do if you encounter a threatening wild animal like a coyote or a bear.

Rachel Barboza, a biologist and environmental scientist from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, will join us for a lively Q&A session following the presentation.

This free seminar will be held in the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA Classroom on Sunday, October 16 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Residents of any city are welcome.
