Agenda for City Council Meeting Tuesday, Jan. 20, begins with a study session at 6:30 p.m. about lettering and design on the Gold Line bridge over Huntington Drive at Second Avenue (due to lack of quorum, that session delayed from 6 p.m.), followed by the regular Council meeting at 7 p.m. that begins with five presentations of recognition, including three to high school students and groups. The business of the meeting is then dominated by three public hearings, two of which are appeals by homeowners in the Highands over Planning Commission rulings in cases involving proposed new homes. The meeting will be closed in memory of three recently-deceased individuals who left a mark on Arcadia.
