On October 15, 2021, at 3:34 a.m., Arcadia Police Department personnel responded to the 200 Block of Foothill Boulevard on the report of a catalytic converter theft in progress. As officers arrived on-scene they detained one suspect, and a second suspect fled on foot. A short foot pursuit occurred, and a containment was established. With the assistance of Arcadia Police K-9 units, the area was searched, and the second suspect was located. Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Arcadia Police Department jail.
