An armed robber held up a Burger King assistant manager at gunpoint Saturday night and fled with $300.
No one was hurt and there were no witnesses, according to Arcadia police.
The male Hispanic suspect described as 40-45-years-old, 5’10,” about 180 pounds with prescription glasses and a mustache and goatee, walked into the restaurant at 82 W. Las Tunas about 8:07 p.m. and approached the ordering counter like any other customer as if to order until he revealed a semi-automatic handgun and told the assistant manager, “Give me money and hurry up.”
After being given about $300 in cash, the suspect walked out the west door to the parking lot and out of sight.
The robber was reported to have been wearing a blue baseball cap with red lettering, a blued jersey-style shirt with red stripes, gray shorts, and tennis shoes.
