On April 26, 2024, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Arcadia Police Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Santa Clara Street, in a commercial business lot, regarding an unknown type of disturbance where a gun was seen. As officers arrived, they learned four subjects wearing masks arrived at the location and attempted to enter a closed business where several people were still inside. When the suspects could not enter the locked business, they used a firearm to shoot out the glass and enter. One of the rounds fired into the business struck a victim in the leg. Once inside, the suspects robbed the victims and fled. The victims could only describe the getaway vehicle as a newer, white, or silver four-door sedan, possible a Chrysler. The victim who suffered a gunshot wound was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
