Arcadia Masonic Lodge #278

Freemasonry is the world’s first and largest fraternal organization. It is a brotherhood of like-minded men who genuinely care about each other. Masonry is based on the belief that each man has responsibility to help make the world a better place through the culture of philanthropy to help make a profound difference for their members, families, communities and their future.

Decades ago, the Arcadia and Temple City Masons merged into Lodge #278 and annually host a back-to-school luncheon for the stu-dents at Arcadia High School. They also contribute to the disaster relief efforts conducted by the California Grand Masonic Lodge located in San Francisco.

Arcadia Masons support Masonic Homes of California; the Masonic Foundation that provides meaningful educational partnerships and scholarships; as well as Masons4Mitts helping underserved youth with baseball mitts for those in need.

Shriners International is a Masonic Society that funds Shriners Hospitals, who furnish pediatric specialty care with world-class research for children with orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injuries, buns and cleft lip & palate, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
